Lamplighters Community Theatre

Founded in June of 1937 as The La Mesa Little Theatre and incorporated as The Lamplighters Community Theatre on November 1st of 1976, the theatre has now had continuous productions in La Mesa for 80 years.

Serving the La Mesa and surrounding communities, Lamplighters produces six season productions a year. We also support special events and one act shows between the regular season productions. Season productions are performed on Friday and Saturday evenings at 8pm and on Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

Our goals are to provide a quality theater experience for our community, to provide a training facility for artistic, technical and administration aspects of theater and to have fun while we do it.

The Lamplighters Theatre Company performed it's last show at the Ben Polack Art Center on August 20th, 2006.

The Lamplighters Theatre Company reopened in a new location at 5915 Severin at Amaya in the La Mesa Village Station shopping center.
