Do you have a formal 'post-mortem' or evaluation process following your season?

"The discussion and evaluation is part of the monthly board meeting."

Do you have a formal 'post-mortem' or evaluation process following particular performances?

If you answered 'Yes' to either question above, who facilitates the discussion?

The Executive Director

The board

The director and stage manager of the particular production

If you answered 'Yes' to either question above, how is the information gathered in the discussion then used for future season or production selection?

It is mostly a review of what we did well and did not do well regarding the selection of the play, stagecraft, organization of time for rehearsals and director's organization of time and efforts. We also look at advertising and marketing beginning with the call for auditions. Why did we fill seats or did not fill seats? What is not evaluated formally is the director or actors. No personal criticisms and only constructive comments are allowed.

The discussion and evaluation is part of the monthly board meeting.

Gathered in feedback forms before the meeting and also through notes taken during the meeting by the production manager
