Enrich Our Community Paraphrase is honored to continue the rich tradition of live theater on the Peninsula. From our first season, we have been committed to making high-quality theater accessible to everyone.
Empower Our Youth - We believe that theater can be instrumental in shaping the lives of young adults. We encourage young adults to find their voice and can face their futures with confidence.
Since 2015, Paraphrase Productions has created a unique and safe place for young adult artists to grow in both craft and character.
Paraphrase Productions puts on a range of works every year from large-cast musicals to intimate plays.
Paraphrase is also committed to arts education, exemplified by its unique Emerging Artists Program.
Paraphrase Productions is a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre company. We seek to cultivate a creative environment that is a positive contribution to the Monterey Bay community. Our work has been made possible through the support of community partnerships and by the generosity of donors.
